A couple of weeks ago, we had the pleasure of shooting this awesome wedding for these two even more awesome people. The wedding was gorgeous! The details pulled everything together perfectly and everyone looked fantastic! Charli and Jacob are down-to-earth, kind, fun people... the kind of people the world needs a little more of.
Charli's mom is a photographer so she did all the formal portraits, etc... we basically just showed up to document the day! Talk about a breeze. Everyone was so laid back that everything flowed smoothly. Plus, I don't get to be just a photojournalist very often, so it was fun! Here's a few of everyone getting ready.
So happy! I love it.
The exquisite dress, perfect for a winter wedding.
The girls were lookin' good. PS: I love fun bridal parties! =)
So pretty. Don't hate her.
The groom and his brother hanging out before the ceremony.
About to walk down the aisle...
By the way, the vows were super sweet.
Oh yeah, he loves her.
This picture cracks me up. Every time I see it, I smile. In my opinion the organ player just makes this shot. Hey, he wanted to see what was going on too. I love how we get home from a shoot and see things in the pictures we didn't know were there because we were 'in the zone'. It's fun.
Mr. and Mrs. off to the reception. More pictures of that to come soon!

Jacob+Charli: Wedding

A face without freckles...
Is like a sky without stars..." A special thanks to Natasha Bedingfield for recognizing this fact and to the beautiful bride below, Jackie, for sharing the lyrics with me. I mean it's sooo true! =)
We met Jackie a couple of years ago when we registered for our wedding at a cute little store named Browns here in town. I got to know her better through Big Brothers Big Sisters and she is awesome! So is her husband Andy (whose parents own Browns). Anyway, they got married a few months ago and I had asked her if she'd be interested in modeling for us since we hadn't done many bridals. She jumped at the chance!! She and her photographers didn't get the chance to squeeze them in so it works out for both of us! This session was scheduled right after their wedding but poor Jackie got sick. So we rescheduled. Then, both of them were in a car accident. Then, we rescheduled again... and it worked out!
We had a long session with Jackie and Andy but it was the best time! They are so much fun, so in love and so up-for-anything. We had a blast.
We took this in Browns.
This is just so Jackie... I'm glad we were able to catch it.
It's rare that I like the traditional portrait the best... but I think this is my favorite this time! Gorgeous right?
Her dress AND shoes were exquisite!! =)
As Jackie and Andy were following us to a site, Dac noticed her rockin' shades in the rearview mirror and we just HAD to use them.
Jackie, you're beautiful inside and out!! Hope these do that some justice. =) While we were out, we also did some fun couple shots. We'll post those soon!
